Public Mobile

So again, it really depends on where you are and what your needs are.

At Mobile Syrup, we have for a long time really championed some of the budget brands like Freedom Mobile, Public Mobile, just to name a few, Fizz Mobile as well.

The one concern that I have with them is even though the prices are a lot better, sometimes the coverage isn't quite as good.

So, you know, for public mobile, for example, they're owned by Telus, so they run on Telus's network.

But the big three carriers typically reserve the best wireless performance for the people who are on Telus.

the Telus brand or the Rogers brand specifically.

As somebody who has been with public mobile before, I haven't had any issues with that coverage or with using it.

But there can be instances if you're a public mobile user and you're in a very traffic heavy environment, Your usage might get deprioritized in favor of a TELUS customer or a KUDO customer, for example.
