Public Media Company's Bridge Fund for nonprofit radio stations turns from rescue to reinvention.

In August 2025, Public Media had organized a fundraising bonanza.

It created the Public Media Bridge Fund to raise and quickly donate $100 megadollars to stabilize public radio stations that depended on CPB funding for more than 30% of their annual budgets and were in danger of closing after the federal cuts.

We're about to move into the HR space and accounting supports.

There's an organization called Public Media Company, for example, that does a lot of back-end supports for public media.

well, they're willing to experiment with small community media as well.

So we're really looking at holistic back-end supports across whatever folks say they need in a realistic way.
