Plug and Play Tech Center

So those are just two out of my one thousand companies.

My name is Saeed Amidi, and I'm the CEO and the founder of Plug and Play.

Plug and Play is consider to be the largest innovation platform in the world, and we have, uh, thirty-four unicorns.

Some of the most early famous investments we have done is, like, PayPal and Dropbox.

Some of our most recent unicorn is, uh, like, Physical Note or Honey or Rappi, which is a delivery company.

So I really had a front seat to see Google grow and become what it is today.

So I changed my focus from packaging and bottled water and real estate to technology.

So I joined Plug and Play in August 2008.

And the idea for Logitech was also created inside of his building.

So that's just a little background on Plug and Play, which is essentially his family office slash incubator business platform, which he's scaled up enormously.

I was going to welcome you to Plug and Play, but you guys got more than you asked for.

So you're going to even get some more history.

And you're also the host of Tight Curls, which is a science-based media platform translating research on tightly curled hair into practical consumer insight.

Former startup mentor for Plug & Play Tech Center, And you've done a lot of other cool stuff, too, as well.

Obviously, you had that biomedical background, bioengineering.

So I kind of wanted to touch on the top thing that you're doing now.
