Sources tell TMZ the notice landed Wednesday just as replacement guards descended on Dolly's main home in Nashville, her museum, downtown residence and warehouse taken over by a new security team.

Brian and his team now calling out Dolly's longtime manager Danny Nozell and Pinnacle Bank telling TMZ they're dismayed by the unexpected and so far unexplained actions taken since Dolly's death.

We remain unshakably resolved to fulfill her final directive to protect her family, and we refuse to be intimidated by those whose actions we believe are being taken in bad faith with the intent to profit from the life of someone who willingly gave so much.

So, kind of an unusual development here.

So it's not like he's not needed anymore, another security system came in.

He's still looking for answers as to why this is being done, and we have reached out to Danny Nozell and this Pinnacle Bank that is connected.

Now he, along with Pinnacle Bank, are the ones that essentially told Brian he was no longer required and brought in a new security team.

So he first began working with Dolly in 2004 as her consultant.

And then by 2005, he went on to become her longtime manager.
