And I was like, Michaela's not here.

And then it's all about Kyle Ritchie being either a breakout or continuing the pace, but hopefully becomes a 25-30 goal scorer.

There are several manufacturers that make great helmets.

Petzl is just one of them.

And so really, anytime that you're going to be going into an enclosed space of any kind, like Brian mentioned, a helmet is, uh, is key, especially if you're going in for the first time, you don't know it, obviously where Brian went, um, he had been there multiple times and knew what he was getting into.

Um, but oftentimes if you're going into some of these, uh, locations, uh, you're going in with the best knowledge that you have and the best research, but uh, anytime you're going into an enclosed space, uh, a helmet of some kind is, is key to, uh, protecting your noggin.

Um, so, um, Stunson makes some good ones.

Uh, Cask makes a good helmet.

Um, Petzl makes them.

Those are all, um, climbing companies that, um, you know, are in the business of of making climbing gear.

For this size drop, I usually use a figure eight descending device.

For the climb up, I attach myself to the rope using a Petzl ascender, but I climb up on my own without using the device.

It is there merely as a safety attachment in case I slip.

Other cavers have their own methods of getting down and up.

So, like, I'll always, in that kit as well, like, I'll always have a few spare lithiums.

And then the Petzl head torches, there's rechargeable ones that you can actually swap the rechargeable battery out for normal batteries.

So, for example, like, I also had a black diamond, which I really trust as well, which is a rechargeable one.

But I had the Petzl things like the attack core.

Yeah.

And then in Duff, I had a rechargeable battery in it.

The required kit, you need to bring them and have them, but I didn't need them.

My Petzl helmet wasn't required to do that.

It's like a foam, orange foam helmet, super light.

It checks the boxes from what's required, but again, less weight on those days when you have to wear it.

You don't need a, you know, 900 lumen headlamp on full blast through the night.

You know, get used to running on a lower power setting, use the reactive lighting if you've got a Petzl lamp and it really, really, you know, extends that battery life out and get used to how long it will last for.

I'd

just add on that as well, James, that if you are feeling sleepy, turning the torch up may burn the battery a bit quicker, but will make you feel a bit more awake.

And you got to Notre Dame de la Gorge, which was, like, they said this year, the first time, you've got to have, like, a red head torch setting or you've got to have, like, a cover over your head torch.

You got a cover for your Petzl.
