Well, remember Palestine Action was p- they've been carrying off little old ladies in England for this for a while.

Right, so Doctors Without Borders, Médecins Sans Frontières, are facing charges of terrorism on the part of a certain rather notorious pro-Israel group here in the UK who are demanding that the Home Secretary Shabana Mahmoud considers banning the organisation.

It's Palestine action all over again.

Powerful accusation, heaping out enough melodrama, enough to choke an episode of Eastenders.

But there's a big fat snag, though, because the organisation in question, who have decided that MSF need taking down, UK LFI, UK Lawyers for Israel, it's nailed on in the name, happens to have its own regulatory skeletons in the cupboard, you see.

It's about what UK LFI thinks should be done, and the media platforming, they've got to say it.

They looked at Doctors Without Borders, one of the best-known medical charities on the planet, and decided the appropriate response was to urge the British state to consider treating it as a terrorist organisation.

If it works for Palestine Action, let's see how far we can stretch this, would appear to be the thinking.

Not a complaint, not a call for a meeting, it's not a demand for tighter vetting, just straight to full prescription under terror laws, right for abuse by people so inclined to do so.

There's something very strange about this kind of nature of politics now in the West that even if you mobilize all these millions of people, the power structures of the empire domestically and abroad are so immune, it seems, to normal forms of political pressure.

The only thing that has been working is like Palestine action.

And look at what they're doing to try and squash that movement.

It's outrageous the, uh, frontline prosecutor's charges of assault are not being pursued, but that seems to be part and parcel for this DOJ.

Well, the US Treasury Department has announced financial sanctions against Palestine Action and two related organizations for alleged terrorist ties.

Who is Palestine Action, and what has been their response?

What's going on in this situation is a continuation of the attempt by the State Department and now the Department of the Treasury to use mechanisms to punish, uh, protest a- and resistance on what they call the far-left extremist end of the spectrum.

Uh, Palestine Action, uh, is an organization that is speaking out on the rights of Palestinians and, uh, criticizing Israel.

Uh, the United States government is piggybacking on rulings that are taking place in England, uh, where the laws of freedom of expression and the right to protest are much more limited than they are here in the United States.

So Palestine Action, uh, another Italian-based group, uh, have been labeled as terrorist organizations in England, and now the Department of Treasury a- and the State Department are following suit in the United States.

Uh, Palestine Action was proscribed as a terrorist organization in the United Kingdom under its broad Terrorism Act.
