And so to start off this homebrew adventure that's going to be very sandboxy, very hex-crawly, explorationy, this first session with new players, I just wanted something a lot more straightforward where the party gets together, they get a mission, and they go.

And so I looked around and I ended up finding... one of Paizo's very early adventures that they wrote when they were still writing for Dungeons & Dragons 3.5. Before Paizo, before Pathfinder was even a thing, the company that makes Pathfinder, Paizo, used to run one of either Dungeon or Dragon magazine, I forget, And would write adventures for 3.5 D&D.
