So I learned kind of the hard way on how to set up models and and spreadsheets and all those things way back then.

But I spent my lunch hours, um, down visiting the head of the retail brokerage arm of the firm I worked for, Blythe Eastman Payne Weber.

Um, and, uh, and, and just spent lunchtime talking stocks with the head of the office, uh, who ultimately then ended up hiring me when he spun out of Payne Webber and formed his own brokerage firm, Guilford Securities.

And I joined him as an analyst in 1982.

when you look back to your time at painweather where did you see yourself going in the early days and are you surprised that you end up there

I mean,

I would never have thought I would have ended up my career doing what I was doing when I was a young analyst at Payne Weber.

So it just tells you that the road is full of twists and turns that take you to lots of scary and wonderful places together.

And fans at the game are being kept up to date with the stock market quotations and business news on the message board.

I'd like to pass along regards to Skip Smith and his co-workers at Payne Weber, who are supplying the scoreboard room with all the information.

Flashing some of the stock market quotations up on the board, high in center field right now, as a matter of fact.

Norman has struck out four, has walked only one, in addition to allowing the Dodgers three hits.

And heading into the 90s and beyond, people stopped paying attention to commodities.

Actually, when I was at Payne Weber, they didn't even let us invest in them.

No futures.

There's one person in the whole firm that could do futures contracts.

Unable to take part in the forthcoming home Grand Prix at Spa, his team hired an unknown in F1 to drive the beautiful green 7 of Jordan, Soon, all hell broke loose.

And soon, Monday morning, we're talking the next day, and the Piranha Club of Flavio and Weber had their catch of the day.
