Ontario Arts Council

That's what it is, really.

And you guys have been so successful, like Canada Council Grant, Ontario Arts Council Grant.

Correct.

You just got nominated for the Turner Piano Prize from the Ontario Arts Council.

Could you describe to us what that is? I don't know.

I mean,

Okay.

Yes.

Thank you.

Thanks to a creation grant from the Toronto Arts Council and the Ontario Arts Council a few years ago, I was able to work on this composition project.

And what I wanted to do was I wanted to co-write with people whose music and whose playing I really admired.

And it was a big honor for me when my former teacher and really someone I've looked up to from the beginning of my time in Canada, Sharantha Bedage, agreed to co-write this song with me.

you.

As a creator in Canada, as a musician, I'm incredibly grateful to have funding and support to make projects like this happen.

And I really want to thank the Nutrition Foundation, the Canada Council for the Arts, the Toronto Arts Council, the Ontario Arts Council.

At many, many different points of this project and my artistic life, I've gotten support from them.
