yeah you have to very much rethink how you play it um you can't play it quite so up you know when you're in a up and out like you're in a giant theatre like when I was whenever I'm doing anything in the big western theatres you always have to sort of imagine that you're up and out and I remember actually my director when I did Dear Evan Hansen because we were going on tour straight after that said what you're doing is brilliant for Nottingham Playhouse and don't forget it has to change when you're in the Edinburgh Playhouse and I was like yeah because it really does like you have to suddenly
Carlos TsengHOST
1:22
make it fill that space
Alice FearnGUEST
1:23
it's an interesting lesson for any youngsters coming up but always a good reminder for me that that you always have to just remember that whatever it is that you're doing and and and the story you're telling is more and more intimate in certain spaces and some other spaces it needs to make sure it sells to that slightly bigger auditorium
Nicky HudswellGUEST

Nicky HudswellGUEST

BramHOST

How long were you in Nottingham for?
Nicky HudswellGUEST
7:37
Three years at the Playhouse, nearly, not quite three years at the Playhouse, during which time I had a fabulous time, like 24, 25, 26, living with friends, earning some money, working in my dream job with great people.
Nicky HudswellGUEST
7:54
Nottingham Playhouse was a brilliant place to be then, I don't know if it still is.
Nicky HudswellGUEST
7:58
Yeah, as far as I know it is.
Lucy TrinderHOST
32:00
