And you know, the funny thing to me is we all, musically, I mean, we all met David Hood before we met Patterson because of the music we were listening to as kids on the radio that he was playing on.

So, Decoration Day is on New West Records.

It's produced, again, by David Barbee.

It's released on June the 17th, 2003.

As a member of the Jayhawks, he's appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman and Conan.

He's recorded for what sounds like an anthology of record labels, Twin Tone, American Recordings, Ryko Disc, Lost Highway, 30 Tigers, Rounder, Sony, and New West Records.

Over the years, he's appeared at Farm Aid, Stagecoach, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, and Wilco's Sky Blue Sky Festival.

AllMusic calls him one of the premier songwriters of his generation.

He was in Spain, I believe.

He came back, and now he's releasing a solo album from Nashville on the New West Records label coming out in October.
