Naxos Records

And I talk about network all the time to artists and to... upcoming executives and students at Belmont, where I'm an adjunct professor now.

And a person in my network, someone I've been in school with, had moved to Nashville sight unseen and taken a job with this company I had kind of heard of called Naxos.

Naxos, for those that don't know, I know y'all talk about country music a lot on this podcast, but There's a lot of other music in Nashville.

And Naxos is the world's largest classical record label and distributor.

And my very first real gig, aside from the little things I was doing at MTV down in South Beach.

My first real gig was a sales position with Naxos.

And so I moved here in 2005 and started at this classical label.

And I thought my whole goal, it was based in Franklin, and my whole goal was that I was going to get the gig, network, find my way onto Music Row.
