I just want to make sure I get this acronym right.

But the NMFTA, so that National Motor Freight Traffic Association, they launched recently, I believe within the last year, year and a half, of a fraud watch website.

It's invite only, but most U.S.-based, as long as you're legitimate, you can join.

We've been talking about this on the show for a while now, but cybersecurity to me is the most unspoken about threat to our industry.

And to me, it's kind of shocking that the amount of people who aren't really talking about it at the level that i think they should especially with the digital world that we live in all of the vulnerabilities that our operating systems potentially could have out there but most importantly with where things have started to trend from uh cyber crimes cargo theft all of that like we need to collectively come to the table and speak together as an industry to put these best practices out here And I'm going to be live on site next week at the NMFTA Cybersecurity Conference in Long Beach, California.

And I would highly recommend you guys all come out to that if you're going to be in sunny Southern California.

But we are going to talk about cyber attacks across the industry today and kind of like what you can do out there.

Food distributors warn cyber attacks can quickly become supply chain disruptions.

If you guys want, the NMFTA in a couple of weeks out in Long Beach is doing their annual cybersecurity conference.

They've been talking about this for weeks.

about five plus years now in regards to cyber attacks and trucking and what that can do out there.

I would definitely highly recommend you guys coming out to that event.

Truly, if you're near Long Beach, if you want to get out and come to Long Beach, go to the NMF to just search Cybersecurity Conference 2026 or NMFTA Cybersecurity Conference 2026 and register and come to this, right? Because this is a very, very real, real problem.

That is out there.

I just saw another article that Gene Sirocco, who's the top guy at the Port of LA Long Beach, there was like 120 some odd.

It's kind of that, that talk about an interruption in business that you have zero control over, which you do have control over it, but you know what I mean?

But dude, you know, again, ironically, I'll be back in Long Beach in like next week or two weeks from now at the NMFTA.

They do an annual cybersecurity conference and they talk about all this stuff, right? Like it's specifically for transportation and a lot of this, dude, like you were bringing up social engineering and that like, man, this is a very real thing, right? And it's an afterthought for so many people because I think like the thing that, Most people don't want to do, Cam, is wave the white flag and be like, hey, we fucked up.
