Myerscough College

Was going to go down the...

Down the golf path, enrolled on to a national diploma in golf studies at Myerscough College.

And I kind of had a big U-turn and decided that I wanted to join the army.

So, yeah, after about three months at Myerscough, I decided that that wasn't for me.

um i think i think for me i wasn't the most academic um so school school was a challenge um in terms of you know later on in life I found out I got diagnosed with ADHD at 40 so that had been something useful to have a diagnosis at school so I was always kind of like lack of attention and always kind of looking for the next thing and golf was always a passion of mine growing up so it was a natural thing right I'm going to go into golf and that's what I'm going to do and then and then when I got there and I realized I'm not playing golf every day I'm not practicing every day I'm still learning about science I'm still learning about you know maths and all that sort of stuff and Me and my best friend Callum Hayes, who went on to be a PGA Pro, we kind of both looked at each other and said, this isn't what I was after in life.

It was a bit of a funny story.

We used to have to get two buses to Myerscough College and it stopped off at Preston Bus Station.

And the snooker championships used to be at the Guildhall.
