But it was in the early 1990s that Muller Dairy became our next door neighbour.

And our landowner then saw the potential to sell Ford Hall Farm for development.

But he couldn't do that as we were there as tenant farmers.

Essentially, the biggest pressure on us in the 1990s was from local development.

We're right on the edge of our local market, town market Drayton.

And Muller Dairy had moved next door to us and they wanted to expand their yoghurt factory.

And we were the neighbouring field.

And then when I left there, I went to a German company with the intention of using that language, but not really doing so.

So I went to Muller Dairy and started my professional qualifications in accountancy.

And from there, starting in accountancy, where did you go next as you've weaved to a few different places? Yeah,

so that was kind of going... home, really, back to Shropshire where I grew up.
