Missouri–Kansas–Texas Railroad

Is he ever going to get it right?

Yeah, so the plan is to hit the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad while it's passing through Oklahoma.

Right, right, right.

Then, on October 4, 1911, McCurdy planned his most ambitious job yet.

intercepting a Missouri-Kansas-Texas railroad train, reportedly carrying roughly $400,000 in royalty payments owed to the Osage Nation.

He and his accomplices robbed the wrong train.

It was a passenger train, not the one carrying the Osage payment.
