And that brings me on to sort of obviously quite a big conversation going on in the industry at the moment, which is, you know, a few months ago, we saw the UK actually effectively ruling out Chinese manufacturer Ming Yang from participating in UK offshore wind.

And it'd be interesting to get your thoughts on that decision.

And, you know, how do we balance this energy security concerns with the need to obviously keep costs down and maintain competition? If you could sort of go more specifically on that.

So interesting.

On exactly that point then and talking about artists here and what have you, I wonder, I don't know if we have time to get into it, but Ming Yang, you know, big plans, 1.5 billion pound investment, 1500 jobs they're promising, huge turbine factory, you know, that feeds into what we're talking about here.

Of course, the UK government initially put a pause on any decision.

They've since banned it completely.

they want to know, well, why can't we have this investment? Why can't we have this jobs? And when it's down to a government, who know for their own, perhaps to say, well, it's a secret, it really leaves people in a difficult position and with a lot of questions to answer.

And I wonder, the SNP have changed.

John Sweeney is now saying, now Michael Shank says, John Sweeney knows fine well why we can't have this Ming Yang factory.

John Sweeney, seems to think we should be having this Ming-Yang factor.

Stay with China a moment longer because the product strategy tells you as much as the project map.

Mingyang Smart Energy has unveiled the Tianqi MCD 5MW turbine at its factory in Guizhou.

It's the first machine in the company's new medium speed compact drive platform, a semi-direct drive that Ming Yang says cuts component count by 60%.

And it is built for sites nobody used to bother with, mountains, plateaus, places where the wind averages four and a half meters per second.

Now, one more item, and this one has a little bit of an edge.

Ming Yang, the Chinese turbine maker banned from British waters on national security grounds, wants back in.

The company has plans for a 1.5 billion pound factory in Inverness, Scotland, 1,500 jobs, 8,000 in the supply chain.

Labor ministers shut it down in March, and the Ministry of Defense was worried about spying.

European rivals complained about Chinese state subsidies.

And now Ming Yang is lobbying the new prime minister, Andy Burnham, to reverse the ban.

The company says it can deliver, quote, growth in every postcode, unquote.

That phrase is Burnham's own.
