You know, I, I worked for someone else for four years and learned the training business.

The original training, personal growth training that I went through was called Mind Dynamics.

And, uh, you know, I look back on it with such gratitude.

Not the day after the training, but in the years after it.

They just talked about me.

And one of the things that happened out of that is I started recommending that training to people when I was running sales organizations.

So I enrolled over 400 people into Mind Dynamics.

Not for money, no commission, no nothing.

I thought so too and then I just typed his name or something in and he's still carrying on and he's 90 I think or something or 85 I don't know yeah but when I checked it out I was I was shocked to see that he was still teaching like to businesses and corporations it was surprising

You were involved with Werner even before he set up the EST program, when he was involved in mind dynamics.

They used to demonstrate psychic functioning as part of that seminar.

It got incorporated into the program as well as one of the things that really impressed me about all of those, including Silva Mind Control, those kinds of programs that were involved.

And I had never thought of it that way.

Then it was considered like an honored position, like whoever Werner would choose.

And it was a very cult-like experience being involved with the mind dynamics.

They would have a place in the office that had files with these little cards that would have the name and the ages that they called the cases.

Erhard had spent the previous decade moving from sales into the emerging human potential industry.

After his studies in Zen and Scientology, encounter groups and transactional analysis, he became a trainer for a company called Mind Dynamics.

By 1971, he was already thinking about building a program of his own.

A few months after his experience on the Golden Gate Bridge, he did.
