this comic book created by Dwayne Duffy and a, a bunch of other Black creators in the '90s called Milestone Comics.

They basically made a bunch of Black characters.

Not just Black characters, but they're mainly Black characters, like Static, Static from the cartoon Static Shock.

It's absolutely a priority for us.

We take our company name, Milestone Media, very literally.

It's not just Milestone Comics, it's also film and television and every platform.

You know what quality feels like.

which is great.

Another exciting new platform for us to work on.

And, you know, for us at Milestone Media, whether it's a podcast, whether it's a video going, whatever it is, we want in.

That's great to hear, man, because honestly, I love that both DC and Marvel are doing it, and also Independence are doing it as well.

He passed away back in 2011 at the age of 49.

But before doing that, he had helped co-found Milestone Media.

and co-created Icon and Rocket and Static and Hardware.

He also was a writer and producer on cartoons such as Static Shock, Justice League Unlimited, and really was a big influence on the Ben 10 animated series, and so was a huge loss during his untimely death.

I think Dennis Cowan and another guy who's unfortunate, I can't remember the name.

It was a group of them who created Milestone Comics along with Static, which was called Static at that time, and then Icon and then some other characters, I believe.
