Costco reported late Thursday with eyes on its membership numbers.

Next week brings a little more excitement on the earnings front as Micron and Nike both report.

In data yesterday, new home sales for August easily outpaced expectations at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of six hundred and eighty-four thousand.

Analysts had expected six hundred and ten thousand.

So is this, is this priced in right now, Vincent? Do you think that this is why there's so much uncertainty in the market and why, you know, you kinda have these blips? And even if you look at it from a TA perspective-

Yeah

... maybe that's kinda being represented in some of, you know, in the Microns and the Nebuses, where it's like it's very undecisive, and you kinda have like a lot of volatility being built up, but it's a little hard to tell which way, which way it's gonna pop.

Yeah.

No, it's, it's, it's definitely priced in.

So Intel shares went up 23%.

Micron shares went up 17%.

Micron have got results this week on the 30th of September.

So we'll see what they've got to say.

Let's hope they keep the positive momentum.

It also means that memory will be in those CPUs as well.

So there's a great need for memory.

So Micron, SanDisk moved.

Last night, it was a black tie state dinner at the White House honoring Chinese President Xi, more than 130 guests and at least 27 CEOs, according to the guest list provided by the White House.

Now, many of them familiar names to CNBC besides the tech and finance heavyweights that we knew about going into this, some new names on the list, including the leaders of Paramount Skydance, Pfizer, LVMH, Exxon, and Micron.

I could go on.

Two notes on the guest list, though.

Okay, we're late in the quarter here, so the earnings season is very, very slow in terms of the reports before we start gearing up in October.

But we do have two interesting companies, one very interesting one reporting next week, and that is Micron, of course, one of the superhero risers of the year on the AI data platform.

data center hardware phenomenon and its general heavy needs for memory and to all the compute needs for AI inference, et cetera.

Super curious to hear what they have to say and how the market treats that report next week.

And as you've had some gains across the memory chip names that rocketed up.

Micron, Sandisk got

ahead of themselves.

You even trimmed Dell, half of Dell at one point.

Then all of a sudden, it's 20, right, going forward, next five years, because all of a sudden, They're part of the, on the receiving end of the massive spend taking place.

Well, Dell

and Micron are great.

Dell was not a part of the orbit.

And now the question is, how much bullishness do you have incrementally from here based on the numbers that are going to come through? It seems like they have now the benefit of more doubt than they had before.

I would note, though, the second biggest upside contributor to the S&P is Micron this morning.

It's above $1,100, the share price.

Hasn't really stayed there.

And then, um, I think those inf- those inference chips, oh, sorry, I forgot, um, I d- um, last minute I did change my buy.

Um, Micron reports next week, um, gentlemen.

There you go.

Oh, look, surely the market's gonna be rational.
