That's on at 7.30. Saturday, the MG Car Club has a line-up of the vehicles at Compton Abbas Airfield from 9.30pm until 11.30pm. And at the Arts Centre, there's the free Poetry to Song workshop running during the day from 10.30pm you'll be encouraged to write some poetry inspired by Dorset's landscape and some recordings of wildlife sounds.

And then composers Sadie Harrison from Shaftesbury and Mark Yates will then pen some music.

And singers Jessica Summers and Assembly's Ed Bursey will turn those short poems into songs, which could last up to two minutes.

And he had an old MG race car that was a one-off, uh, the Parson MG from 1955.

And he had restored that over the course of, uh, 15 or 20 years, and then, uh, took it around to, um, hill climbs and MG Car Club track events.

Saturday the 24th, the MG Car Club shows off its classic MGs at Compton Abbas Airfield from half past 9:00 till half past 11:00.

The Arts Center's free Poetry to Song workshop runs from half past 10 till 4:00, with Dorset writers turning short poems about the county's natural world into songs, alongside composers Sadie Harrison and Mark Yates, and singers Jessica Summers and Ed Bursey.

We would help people write a little poem, and then we would help them compose a vocal line as a way of expressing their, their words.

Yeah, let's bring it a little bit back to sort of grassroots classics.

Really intrigued that the MG Car Club ran its Run Before You Buy event.

in Abingdon last week and a good turnout by all accounts of people coming along to sample MGs in Abingdon, the home of MG, before submitting to it.

So it's a really nice way where owners were giving them passenger rides, showing them around cars, things like that.
