Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County

Can you talk about those relationships and how important they are to what you do, but also to the constituents?

We have a very strong relationship with Houston Metro, mostly on the MetroLiv paratransit space.

When we are hearing from community members that don't have access to public transportation, we ensure that not just they have access to the resources that Houston Metro has, but that if there is any moment where there is some type of miscommunication happening, we serve as that middle person to help coordinate communication and ensure that the rider is having the same access as any other riders.

We also have a very strong relationship with Disability Rights Texas.

Oftentimes we hear of community members that live outside the city limits that feel like they're being discriminated.

Oh, yeah, there's a whole group of systems.

It was like MARTA, Houston Metro, New Jersey Transit that all have these stripes.

The pride
