Manta Trust

Plus, you know, you can't be there all the time.

So there are a lot of underwater projects, especially where they ask you, like, let's say there's a Manta Trust in Maldives where they ask you that if you have seen one or photographed one, then to please send them their pictures.

So then they can add it to their database if it's a new manta ray or a new shark or anything else, depending on what kind of research it is.

So citizen science helps a lot.

We have been contacting them.

AMCO and Manta Trust by that time, African Marine Conservation Organization.

Because everyone was working alone.

And there is a lot going on in terms of sharks and race history and policy and research, but we have been disconnected.

People and organizations, they have been disconnected.

So the first goal was to connect all the efforts in the region and to keep working together.

So the coalition was like the fruit between the partnership between Manta Trust and AMCO and now it's affiliated under the umbrella of Manta Trust officially.

That's why Manta Trust started publishing about it and We even created our own website.

You can support manta projects.

And in the back of the book I mention the Manta Trust.

I mention Manta's, um, the Ecuadorian project and the, uh, Costa Rican project.

You can support them and just kind of spread the word about these beautiful creatures.
