more exciting bit of lore before we start.

We're going to be playing Raxcallion, an RPG from Magpie Games that is extremely piratical.

Quite a new system for me and many of us.

So we shall feel our way through and see how we go.

At least that's how it seems according to statements by all the major players.

Wizards of the Coast, Paizo, Chaosium, Monte Cook Games, Coldball Press, Magpie Games, and many, many others all have official policies and guidelines that very clearly state that they do not permit the use of general AI in their products.

Our RPG should be a celebration of creativity and expression, not trained on the copyright infringement engines trained on the aggregate, often uncompensated stolen works of everyone who's come before.

It is true whether we're taking art or writing, but these big statements are not just because of community uproar, though it's a big part of it, and those of you who take public feedback about the place in AI in the RP industry, thank you, but because AI keeps cropping up despite everyone's best efforts.

It came out last year.

It may have been the year before the original Kickstarter came out, but the actual book came out from Magpie Games, who will be at Rankon this year.

They're going to be running a bunch of stuff.

As they always are, because we love them.
