We're actually discussing all things CPHI right before the big kickoff next week.

And I know it's a big thing that CPHI actually want to, to drive and push and promote.

Um, so yeah, for, for, um, for you to take time out of your busy schedule to take part in these discussions, um, is really important for the industry.

So in terms of speaking from yourself and Lupin Manufacturing Solutions, what is it you're hoping to achieve this conference, if you can share?

Sure, sure.

Tom, first and foremost, I want to listen.

We're talking today about Made in India, the book on Deshbandhu Gupta, the founder of Lupin.

I'm going to do that with Manish Sabharwal, chairman and co-founder of TeamLease Services.

So our conversation is gonna be split somewhere between the pharmaceutical industry and of course, the larger opportunities for the Indian economy and the challenges within.

If we have that kind of scale, which is, uh, a s- say, share in the global generics market in the US, why is there a feeling that we've not arrived?

Well, I think the volume versus value question is key, right? Why didn't DeepSeek come out of India when we exported more software than Saudi Arabia did oil a few years ago? And if you flip that question to pharma, if we make...

You know, Americans ate 400 billion pills last year, India made 200 billion of them, 20 billion were made by Lupin.

Then why did China become one-third of new medicines-
