Um, after that, we then saw the government turn to minerals, and several investments in critical minerals beyond that little MP Materials stake in a company called Lithium America and more of those.

Um, after that, the Commerce Department got involved and you started using CHIPS Act grants to invest in more technology companies and quantum computing.

Uh, and we blinked, and the next thing you know, we have more than 30 of these equity stakes in a wide range of companies.

We are just depleting what we have, and it takes five to 10 years to discover, prove economic, and build a new mine to replace that reserve.

So that is why we're seeing this massive political shift right now, like the Department of Defense actively writing checks into mining companies, 15% of MP Materials, the only full-suite rare earth miner and refiner in North America, 5% of US antimony, 10% of Lithium America.

These are equity positions.

The US government is writing checks into these companies to push things forward.

So that's a massive buy.

They got another 5% in some other company, Lithium Americas, LAC.

U.S. rare earth minerals are 10%.

So they're gobbling up these rare earth mineral companies.
