so like we had said at the end of last week when Rob Zombie had wrote House of a Thousand Corpses originally he had a vague idea for a story about the brother of the sheriff that the Firefly clan had killed who then comes back for revenge and so after Lionsgate Entertainment made back apparently all of their money on the first day of the theatrical release of House of a Thousand Corpses they wanted Zombie to make another film and so he started to seriously think about what that new story would be With Rejects, Zombie had said that he wanted to make it, quote, more horrific and the characters less cartoonish than in Corpses, and that he wanted to make something that was almost like a violent western, sort of like a road movie.

He also cited films like Bonnie and Clyde from 67, The Wild Bunch from 69, and Badlands from 73, as well as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 74, as influence on The Devil's Rejects.

Uh, Lou temple said that he was scared to death about possibly working with Rob zombie when he was up for an audition.
