What is the one single thing that retailers could do at this point? I think from everything we've read, I would recommend that individual retailers reach out to the League of American Bicyclists and find the certified safety instructor from the LAB that's in your region or area, Arrange to have them come in and hold classes, but more importantly find somebody on staff if it's the owner that's fine that will be run through the lab course and become a certified safety instructor.

So that to me is number one because that's something you then can build into come to our weekly class with the lab certified instructor until then.

get into the process of having a weekly class that ranges from beginners on balanced bikes all the way to classes for adults that are getting back to cycling or just for the first time becoming cyclists.

Last month, the Transportation Department told National Public Radio that liberals believed that everyone should ride a bike to their shoebox-sized apartment to eat crickets to achieve a phony climate agenda.

The attacks are depressing to longtime cycling advocates like Bill Nesper, executive director of the League of American Bicyclists.

There is something there that they're playing on, which is, look at that dork on a bike, Mr. Nesper said.

Whether this strategy pays off politically remains to be seen.

Their desire to ride bikes anywhere and everywhere helped convince many local and national governments that good roads were necessary.

So in a big way, that's kind of who we have to thank for the roads we travel today.
