John Dillon has stepped down as president and CEO of La Madeleine.

Dillon posted on LinkedIn that his chapter with the bakery cafe chain ended last month.

Earlier this year, Dillon led the rollout of a transformation plan that included a menu overhaul, a new prototype design, and the addition of a specialty coffee program.

Dillon did not say what he might be doing next, and La Madeleine did not immediately respond to questions about his replacement.

La Madeleine is owned by the France-based Groupe Le Duff.
