Four investors are in talks to buy key parts of ammunition firm Forge de Tarbes.

Shellmaker Forge de Tarbes, which supplies Franco-German tank maker KNDS for its Sieser-Hauitzer, was placed under receivership this week, as reported by Reuters.

The emblematic Parisian department store BHV Marais filed for bankruptcy and reignited its battle with its landlord, Brookfield Investment Fund.

The retailer said it is filing for receivership to secure its recovery plan and preserve business and jobs.

I've been following this over the course of the past couple hours.

There have been, uh, virtually no updates on it, and, uh, there was an explosion at a munitions plant near Rome, which was owned by the, uh, major French-German, uh, defense contractor KNDS.

They're a supplier of weapons and ammunition to Ukraine.

And, uh, there's been no reported injuries, no uport- uh, no reported deaths.

The one exception, curiously, is the French.

The KNDS has a CAESAR.

It's a wheeled howitzer, but the crew has to come out, and they're open, then they're exposed, and they load the howitzer.

The French position is, "Well, we think that it's faster to fix something without the autoloader." Uh, but their other serious competitors have all moved in the other direction.

Prediction number one, KNDS formally restarts its IPO process before March 31st, 2027.

Confidence was seven out of 10.

We are still live and volatile.

Bottom line is we're waiting for them.

KNDS postponed the listing on July 1st.

Financial Times and CNBC reported the company struggled to convince investors of a valuation above 12 billion euros.

On August 26th, Bloomberg reported KNDS was restarting investor meetings, targeting a possible relaunch in the second half of September.
