Let us start right off with cybersecurity.

Kiteworks just announced they

acquired the startup BondFi.

Both of these are American companies operating in the United States, but they have Israeli management teams.

Their core technology monitors sensitive data and enforces security policies across organizations.

So if data is sent via email or shared in enterprise applications, or even used by artificial intelligence agents, Bonvi tracks it to make sure it stays secure.

The acquiring company, Kiteworks, wants to use this technology to enforce security and privacy policies in real time.

Kiteworks is a veteran company.

Yeah, well, as I told you when we met, I thought they did a nice job.

Well, we're not going to talk about Kiteworks and everything that they do.

I do think it's important to set the stage for the listeners about like how big is the company? What are the where are you and like how big is the team and what is your portfolio?

Yeah, so at this point, we're between, I'd say, 550 to 600 employees.

Indeed, indeed.

In terms of the size of the company, the economics, I don't want to get too specific, but we're in the 200 million band of ARR.

What we do, Kiteworks is a cybersecurity company, plain and simple.

The upshot is we license what's called a private data network, built around a data policy engine and control plane.

But can you kind of give me the nickel tour of where you're at and what you do as a company today?

Today, KiteWorks is positioned to protect and govern data in all channels in and out of an environment, provide governance to understand who, what, and where at all times for any data leaving your environment or coming in to ensure sensitivity requirements and things of that nature across the board.

But related to this story, we talked to a cyber CISO, a cyber security specialist at a company called Kiteworks that we talked to quite often.

And he pointed out something very interesting, particularly about the Siemens attack, was that The fact that, yes, AI is supercharging cyber attacks and what makes that so dangerous is that, number one, Frank said, organizations better know who and what can reach their systems.

In other words, they better know what their own vulnerabilities are.
