Kindred Ventures LLC

DreamLabs, a San Francisco startup founded by former NVIDIA robotics researchers, has raised $90 million in seed funding.

The round was led by B Capital with participation from Kindred Ventures, Unusual Ventures, SV Angel and Wing VC, among others.

DreamLabs is building a general-purpose brain for everyday robots, software that lets machines from different manufacturers perform tasks without extensive custom programming.

Alongside the funding, the company launched its first robot model, DreamOne and DreamAPI, a developer platform that turns camera input and plain language instructions into robot actions.

We're launching a fund, but Supply works with a group of LPs, which are primarily operators like myself and family offices, where it's done on a deal-by-deal basis.

So we're bringing top-tier deals, and we're always running shotgun to a Kindred Ventures, to a Founders Fund, to an 8090.

We just did a deal where Nvidia, uh, was the lead.

And so for operators like us who don't-- can't write $5 million checks into funds, and then, you know, it's up to the, to the fund to deploy the capital, our network of LPs then get to look at it in deal-by-deal basis, and they get to come in and be like, "Yeah, I love the infrastructure space." And I have LPs that love infrastructure and chips, and I have LPs that love power, and then a few of them love robotics.

New institutional backers include NVIDIA, Microsoft's venture arm M12, Qualcomm Ventures, and Samsung.

Three prior investors, Kindred Ventures, Framework Ventures, and NIO, also contributed.

Founded in 2024, MEGA hires workers to capture video of themselves performing hands-on tasks ranging from kitchen preparation to automotive maintenance.

Participants wear sensors and carry mobile phones to log physical movements and social interactions.
