The final score in the final and fifth game of the World Series, Oakland three, Los Angeles two.
Devin Thomas O'SheaGUEST
37:11
That's her name, right?
Terrence RayHOST
37:12
Ellie Kemper, right.
Terrence RayHOST
37:14
The Office? Is that what show she was on?
Devin Thomas O'SheaGUEST
37:16
Yes.
Devin Thomas O'SheaGUEST
37:51
So
Terrence RayHOST
37:51
she's from St. Louis.
Terrence RayHOST
37:53
Her family is like Kemper Industries.
Terrence RayHOST
37:55
It's like something out of a Batman movie or something.
RyanHOST
17:39
... is because, uh, sorry, I was looking up their goaltending.
RyanHOST
17:41
Like, Kemper was solid, then he kinda fell off a cliff, and then-
JacksonHOST
17:43
Yeah
RyanHOST
17:43
...
RyanHOST
18:44
Mikey Anderson's good.
RyanHOST
18:45
Uh, Zuccarello's a solid fill-in guy as well as Erik Haula.
RyanHOST
18:49
So I think this, this team kind of really depends on if Kemper and Forsberg can both kinda be that one and two guy, and if Byfield can take that next step.
RyanHOST
18:57
'Cause I do, I do like this team to, to finish top three in that division.
AJ ScholzHOST
34:56
What sort of player is he going to be heading into this season?
Paul BrunoHOST
35:01
Yeah, AJ, and if you're looking for any help beyond the top four that we mentioned in terms of offense, the only guy possibly could assist in that regard is eric gustafson his calling card is offense from the back end but he's such a red flag defensively that he needs to be protected and the way they do that is keep him in a bottom pairing role and get him more favorable matchups maybe more offensive zone starts but he's the one guy that if clark or doughty falters they'll plug him in as that offensive contributor from the back end in terms of the goaltending we got another guy that's getting up there in age and darcy kemper but he keeps performing at a very high level last year played in 50 games played the goals against was a 278 which is very very good and the save percentage a little bit lower than you'd like to see sub 900 is the percentage at 891 so they'd like to see that improve and he'll be paired with anton forsberg who is one of the more capable backup goalies in the league and he'll have to be because you don't expect Kemper to play much more than 50 games again this season.
Paul BrunoHOST
36:04
So that leaves about 34, 35 starts for Forsberg.
Paul BrunoHOST
36:08
If all goes well again, and he was capable as a backup last year of 16 wins, 12 losses, five overtime losses and three shutouts to 57, the goals against.
Paul BrunoHOST
36:19
So it's a better goals against average and Kemper last season and a better save percentage.
Paul BrunoHOST
36:22
So very good support piece behind Kemper in the nets there.
Paul BrunoHOST
36:26
So, uh, That's my take on them.
Paul BrunoHOST
36:30
They're going to rely on the fact that L.A. has been a defense first team for the last several years and will shield these guys a little bit.
Kyle RogersGUEST
1:57
that grew and grew and grew.
Kyle RogersGUEST
1:59
And in 1998, uh, we were acquired by Kemper, uh, out of Chicago and rebranded as Kemper Health.
Kyle RogersGUEST
2:06
Uh, we stayed that way till about three and a half years ago, uh, when we were acquired by Medical Mutual of Ohio.
Kyle RogersGUEST
2:12
So, um, Ohio's largest health insurance provider.

To Colonel Alexander fell the lot of directing the artillery fire and informing the infantry of the best opportunity to advance.

Massed to the west of Emmitsburg Road on low ground which screened their position from the Union lines lay General George Pickett's three brigades commanded by Kemper, Armstead, and Garnett.
David WalesNARRATOR
45:06
Pickett's men had arrived the previous evening from Chambersburg, where they had guarded Lee's wagons on July 1 and 2.
David WalesNARRATOR
45:15
As the only fresh body of troops on the field, they were now to spearhead the charge.
David WalesNARRATOR
49:43
Longstreet merely nodded approval, and Pickett saluted, saying, I am going to move forward, sir.
David WalesNARRATOR
49:50
He rode back to his men and ordered the advance.
David WalesNARRATOR
49:53
With Kemper on the right and Garnett on the left and Armistead a few yards to the rear, the division marched out in brigade front, first northeastward into the open fields, then eastward toward the Union lines.
David WalesNARRATOR
50:07
As Pickett's men came into view near the woods, Pettigrew and Trimble gave the order to advance.
