Dodge, uh, sounds like, uh, they'll be ready to go in 2027.
Nick GiffenHOST

Nick GiffenHOST
22:44
Have you, have you heard the latest Brad Keselowski rumors?
Jordan McAbeeHOST
22:47
I have not.
Danny BHOST
71:30
At least I think body-wise they're gonna, they're gonna have representation out there.
Jaret LundbergHOST
71:34
[laughs] Uh, which I feel like, I feel like, and I know we got some comments earlier like, "Oh, they're gonna fail next year." It's like, well, yeah, n- the first year of, of Dodge, especially if Kaulig is their...
Jaret LundbergHOST
71:46
And there's no disrespect to Kaulig, but if it's just Kaulig running a couple of Dodges out there, I don't care if it's next year, the year after, the year after that, that first season's gonna be a struggle.
Jaret LundbergHOST
71:55
It just is.
Jaret LundbergHOST
71:56
I think it will be.
Danny BHOST
72:44
And-
Jaret LundbergHOST
72:44
...
Jaret LundbergHOST
72:44
Kaulig in a Chevy next year is not learning anything that they can apply for the future, really.
Cody ZeebHOST
9:33
Tony Breidinger, she's back with Mac and Ally Hilgeman in the number 20.
Cody ZeebHOST
9:37
Um, and then Connor Daly is gonna be the free agent driver this week once again for Kaulig.
Cody ZeebHOST
9:43
I feel like the free agent thing was really fun, and then they just got to a point and it's like we ran out of free agents, so we just bring back some of the guys [laughs] that have already done it.
Cody ZeebHOST
9:51
Uh, which, fine, we get Tony Stewart next week, so that'll be great.
Cody ZeebHOST
10:03
Toni Breidinger, she's back with McEnally-Hilgeman in the number 20.

Moving right along in DWD, a lot of rumors that Dodge is nearing a return to the Cup Series in 2027.
Dave WeichertHOST
12:09
As we know, Dodge has partnered with Kaulig Racing.
Dave WeichertHOST
12:13
They have Five RAM trucks that run in the truck series.
Dave WeichertHOST
12:18
There's been a lot of talk about Dodge getting into, back into the cup series, and l- you know, of course, a lot of questions of where and when that's gonna be.
Dave WeichertHOST
12:28
Chris Rice, CEO of Kaulig Racing, has been open that it really depends on power.
Dave WeichertHOST
12:37
Where are they getting their engines from? Has been announced that RCR, which of course is owned in partnership with ECR Engines, they are going to build engines for Dodge.
Dave WeichertHOST
12:53
And when you get into the details, it's really just for Dodge to get back into the sport, and even the other manufacturers, Chevy, Ford, and Toyota, have agreed to the terms, and it's the understanding that this is gonna be a short-term solution to get Dodge back into the cup series, get their feet wet, with the long-term solution that Dodge is gonna supply their own engines, their own power.
Trey LyleHOST
26:15
Now, a certain team has worked with ECR in the past.
Trey LyleHOST
26:17
That's Kaulig Racing, where they get their engines now.
Trey LyleHOST
26:21
It feels like Kaulig is gonna be a Dodge team, and it, it, it feels like if Brad is not going to another, which there's a lot of track house rumors this week, uh, with him, it feels like this is the spot for Brad.
Trey LyleHOST
26:40
What do you think of Dodge's-
SpiderHOST
34:17
Um, so I don't see them moving.
SpiderHOST
34:18
But I think Trackhouse and Kaulig would be teams where I could see potentially entertaining a new manufacturer coming in, um, and working with them.
SpiderHOST
34:26
And again, I'm not privy to every single alliance-
LargeHOST
34:29
Yeah
Dan TaylorHOST
33:08
Um, a quick Google search, RCR, we mentioned, is, uh, running ECR engines.
Dan TaylorHOST
33:13
Also, Kaulig, Trackhouse, and Rick Ware are all contracted to run R... uh, ECR, uh, Chevys.
Dan TaylorHOST
33:23
So, um, all right, let's get into this weekend's race at Phoenix.
Dan TaylorHOST
33:30
It's Sunday afternoon at about 2:00 Central Time.
Cody ZeebHOST
8:12
But for them to get in right away, ECR is, is going to produce their engines, assuming they can close this agreement.
Cody ZeebHOST
8:18
Um, so Dodge coming in obviously sparks questions and debates, right? Kaulig we know obviously will go to Dodge.
Cody ZeebHOST
8:26
They've got the Ram program already.
Cody ZeebHOST
8:28
They're already have, you know, splintered their relationship with, um, Chevrolet, although they do have a relationship with ECR, so maybe that's ties all that in.
Rod VillagomezHOST
11:06
Obviously, we'll, we can have the speculation if they don't start announcing it by the time the season's over.
Rod VillagomezHOST
11:10
But obviously that'll be a speculation for the off-season as to which other team joins suit.
Rod VillagomezHOST
11:14
But I mean, I don't know that I have any, any front runners outside of Kaulig that I think could make the switch, but-
Cody ZeebHOST
11:21
Yeah, I mean, Kaulig is the shoo-in, right? With just because of obviously their relationship with Ram right now, and, and it's been assumed they'll be the first team.
