I was a VP at NBC Comcast.

I was a VP at, uh, Scripps Network, and I was also an executive, uh, always in original production, um, and development, um, at all the networks, and that also includes Time Warner, where I helped create and develop a, a show called, um, I- Impractical Jokers, which is in its 14th year.

Um, and the last show that, um, I created and produced with a business partner was just before I came here to the commission, um, and it was a so- show that we sold, um, all about a, a, an all-female, all-diverse competitive ice skating team, to AMC.

Um, and then, um, at the same time, I'm in my third term as a councilman, um, and a police commissioner here in New Jersey, and that's how I wound up at the commission is that sort of balance between government and also production.

This morning, I had the opportunity to speak with the Scripps Network about new workers coming in to the workforce and how necessary an advanced learning degree is.

This is a question... is cropping up everywhere in small and large businesses because the reality is that the skill landscape is changing and the workforce is changing.

These new employees that are coming in that are early stage in their career have different skill sets, they have different life experience, and many of them are opting out of college to just get started in the workforce.
