So because of this and because of the backlash, John Carpenter actually had a multi-picture deal canceled on him from some big company.

They were like, "Nope, you failed.

So we see him.

He's drinking, immediately drinking.

This is the J&B Scotch thing.

And we see that he's, like, playing chess on his computer, and everybody gets distracted when outside the helicopter is continuing the pursuit of this dog and eventually it arrives at the station.
