Ireland East Hospital Group

I found that, I suppose, separation quite challenging.

But even when I was director of nursing in St. James's, and then when I finished in James's, I became chief director of nursing for what was Ireland East Hospital Group.

Then I moved into the regional director of nursing role for Dublin and South East.

And that whole separation from the clinical side was always a challenge.

And we worked very closely with our regional executive officers.

I worked very closely with Martina Quealy, who was our REO and indeed the wider executive.

And having moved from what was Ireland East Hospital Group into the regional remit, The whole thing about that whole integration and working within the community and having such a community focus was such a fundamentally important part of the work that we were achieving.

And it brought it was bringing it all together.
