Iowa Interstate Railroad

We actually have a special passenger train experience that we're doing out of the Stewart Depot, the Rock Island historic Stewart Depot.

The Iowa Interstate Railroad has some historic passenger cars that are around 100 years old, and they're going to be in Stewart offering train rides going back from Stewart to Adair and then back.

It's about a 40-minute train ride.

And we're doing it to raise funds for the White Pole Road Scenic Byway so we can repaint the poles, keep the history alive, and also beautify the 26-mile scenic byway.

Yeah, and in some cases before maps, too.

So, yeah, folks just kind of feeling their way around all over the place there, too.

But, yeah, and it's nice that the Iowa Interstate Railroad is willing to be able to cooperate with you on this project.
