Alongside her husband, Kurt, she ran a large farm in the Warrarapa region, working across sheep, wool, honey, agritourism, and direct overseas sales.

And most recently, after completing her Nuffield Farming Scholarship, she started a new position as chair of the Wool Growers Working Group at the International Wool Textile Organisation.

At the farm Lisa and Kurt managed, the whole clip was sold for a price that covered shearing costs, and the sheepkeepers listening will know that that's easier said than done.

But Lisa didn't stop at what worked for that one farm.
