An interesting thing about this story is that most people here in the UK seem to agree that certain behaviours are not acceptable.

There aren't many people advocating for more music being played out loud on the buses, are there? But are these ideas about what's acceptable the same everywhere? Pontus Strimling is a researcher at the Institute for Future Studies in Sweden, and he's been comparing social norms across roughly 90 different countries.

So we start off by saying which behaviors are not okay.

And it's three factors that we find are important.
