So that's on the debt side.

When it comes to raising equity, there's a rule in Canada's Income Tax Act that a municipal service corporation like Hydro Ottawa must have at least 90% of the shares of that utility owned by a municipality and have at least 90% of its income within its municipal boundaries.

that makes it really hard to attract equity capital.

If they loosened the so-called 90-10 rule to something like an 80-20 or 70-30, it could attract a lot of much-needed capital that we need to make those infrastructure investments.

We can't really get away from what you guys called them, that idiot there.

And because Hydro Ottawa, they are in a little hot water, you could say.

Yeah.

Because they posted on an outage map.

Google did change to Lake America.

So did

Hydro Ottawa.

But you're supposed to be in the States to do it.

This is phase one of the overall upgrade to Carp Road, which will include two lanes in each direction for vehicles and sidewalks and pathways and so on, and major intersection upgrades, including the major intersection upgrade at Cope and Hazeldean.

And what's happened here, pardon me, is staff have hit a snag in property acquisition and easement agreements right at that intersection and the plan was to have shovels in the ground in September but that's not going to happen because of these delays in securing those permissions from adjacent property owners so they've moved the start date to spring 2027 for that work Now you're still going to see some utilities in there like Hydro Ottawa doing some work but the substantial work now has been pushed into the spring unfortunately.

It is an upgrade at the intersection and the entire roadway that we really really need in Stittsville so it's really unfortunate to see this delay.
