Horniman Museum and Gardens

Because you wanted to know, when did aquariums become a thing? Yeah, I do.

So, I'd say, you know, have a Google of this to read.

I went up to the Horniman Plant Fair up in southeast London where they were having their interesting rare plant nursery invitational day.

and there were some brilliant nurseries there.

I finally got to meet Derry Watkins from Special Plants, and also to say hello again to the brilliant head gardener up there, Errol Ruben Fernandez, who is doing such a good job, who was explaining to me all of the work they'd done on that sunken garden.

Let's see what my Garden of the Week was this week, and my Plant of the Week.

The Garden of the Week this week is a toss-up between the Horniman Museum Gardens and the gardens of the Queen Elizabeth Garden in Regent's Park.

Both brilliant, both wonderful examples of modern plant thought, modern plant design.

We made it out.

The Horniman is a museum, Bums.

That'll explain why I've never heard of it.

But what a view, though.

And we spent the Saturday at the Horniman Museum, which is an excellent museum.

And I hugely recommend it.
