So of course, the points have become some of the easiest to earn for Canadians, whether you have their credit cards or not.

they have a nationwide grocery partnership with the empire group so sobi safeway iga fresco and more shell of course they just added this here home hardware dining options with like harvey's swiss chalet a bunch of places and of course cineplex so the points are very easy to come by but then you add in the credit cards and you're earning scene plus points every day i mean all these programs of course you can earn points every day using their credit cards But they've also become some of the highest points earning cards.

You know, you take the Scotiabank Golden Man Express card, six points per dollar when you use it at Sobeys, Safeway, other Empire Group places, five times points for other groceries and dining and entertainment.

So you can rack up the points quickly.

You can redeem them for groceries.

You know, when you're at Sobeys or Safeway, you can redeem them at Shell for gas.

You can redeem them at Home Hardware, Dining, Cineplex.

But of course, once you add in the credit cards, then you can also do the any travel at any time i should go go back if you know if you don't have a credit card you can still redeem for travel you can redeem via scene plus travel any all scene plus members can but once you add in a scotia scene credit card you can also go out and book any travel you like with anybody you want and redeem points against the charge and that is what makes this program that much more powerful and has it tied for second flexibility they get four out of five stars yeah so i was just explaining how you can redeem everywhere and do all these types of things you know with redeeming the points the only reason they lose one star is that if you don't have the credit cards of course you can't do the any travel at any time redemption but also they don't have any conversion options like several of the other programs in our top five here so they do lose out one star there but i think for most canadians in terms of flexibility it can be a five star flexibility program for a lot of canadians as well Overall value, four out of five stars as well.

So I also did that and I did the door handles and I went to Home Hardware because my door handles weren't fitting the doors.

And I was trying to explain this to the, I don't know, door handle department at Home Hardware.

And speaking of Canadian content, you have spent a lot of time inside Canadian retail, some stops like Walmart Canada, Rents Pets, and Home Hardware.

I mean, that's just an incredible amount of experience that I don't think we pay enough attention to the Canadian retail landscape.

But what has your time at some of these brands, what sort of unique insight did that give you ahead of you jumping all the way in and starting Hale?

Cause a lot of folks early on in their career really consider retail as a stepping stone or a part-time job.

And, uh, I've just been blessed with, with my career, um, especially with the folks that you've mentioned are already with Walmart and Renz.

And then lastly, with the last six years with home hardware has been a treat.

Just by chance, weirdly, I think Home Hardware, the Home Hardware warehouse will order that, which is, I don't know, unusual because I don't think of our Home Hardware as carrying things like that.

But I guess across the country there must be Home Hardwares that are more like rural service and supply hardware stores.

But anyway, I'm going to see if I can order that fluid.

And it takes over 60 liters, so I'll have to buy four pails and it'll be close to 500 bucks for that.
