so tomorrow night uh a total of 36 artists will be honored at the three arts awards celebration at the harris theater the awards cover the areas of dance music teaching arts and visual arts and they honor recipients with a 30 000 unrestricted grant to support their life and creative practice We're happy to have playwright, teacher, LGBTQ activist, and one of the award winners with us today, Tina Fockery-Dean.

We get to go to a taping of the award show.

If you're lucky enough, you can get in the building next week, next Thursday at the Harris Theater.

But it airs late November, November 27th.

Tonight's celebration will feature performances by past recipients.

Ceremony starts at 6.30 at the Harris Theater.

What's the event usually like?

The event is super fun.

Plus we will be celebrating the 36 awardees, the Next Level awardees, the Three Arts awardees, the Make-A-Wave awardees.

And then when we're done doing that, we're going to party, celebrate them.

There's an after party in the lobby of the Harris Theater where we'll have like food and drink and you'll get to meet the awardees and other fun, awesome, amazing Chicago-based people.
