One further word about David.

I've known David for about 15 years since I first started writing about reinsurance, at which point he was at Guy Carpenter and before that he was at Benfield and later on he was at JLT Re before he joined Howden Re.

And across all that time, David has led strategic analytics and business intelligence for those big reinsurance broking firms.

And in that time, noticeably, consistently, he's been the guy who comes up with the best analytical reports ever.

You are respectively head of digital broking and head of analytics for one of the world's largest reinsurance brokers, Marsh Re, formerly known as Guy Carpenter or Guy Carpenter Facultated Reinsurance in your case.

And that problem is they have a lot of capital, maybe even too much.

Marsh Re, which up to a few days ago was still called Guy Carpenter, and they've announced this up and coming for Monte Carlo.

They have a brand new name and a brand new brand.

They expect dedicated reinsurance capital to reach about $705 billion this year.

I was with them seven years, sort of building up their reinsurance operation, particularly their London market reinsurance operation there.

and was approached by Peter Sofino when he was CEO of Guy Carpenter to come into Guy Carpenter and to drive really new business development across the world.

I jumped at the opportunity.

It was an amazing platform to join this huge global organization.
