It gets published in translation, uh, in New York by Grove Press, one of the beat publishers, uh, the English British editions.

They come back to France, and they start being sold, uh, through the GI bases, but also, uh, in general.

The, the other thing about French censorship is one of the, the niches of the law is that you're not allowed to display the book, but you are allowed to sell it.

... quite a big switch in terms of a French rereading of the, the '50s com- the '40s comics.

Um, the comic itself didn't do that well either in, in the US.
