We don't have rom-coms much anymore, especially on the big screen.

Uh, I feel like Netflix is doing some rom-coms, and that's cool, but the closest you're gonna get besides that is, like, Lifetime, Hallmark, and Great American Family type of movies, and those aren't the best of movies.

Like, I want big screen romantic comedies to make a comeback.

I'm not ashamed to admit I love these movies and I want more of them.

And there's a huge rise in Hollywood and opportunity for that.

You've got Great American Family as a channel that really leans a little bit more conservative.

TV programs on mainstream have also leaned more conservative in the past couple of years.

I'd say CBS definitely appeals to a more conservative audience with the way they do a lot of their TV shows.

But my faith in itself I mean, I do television, movies.

I'm now at a channel called Great American Family with all my Christmas movies, my mysteries, so that I can share stories of faith.

Candice, we know obviously about your career, and it's how many people have come to know you and interact with you.

I'm curious for you, when did your career become something where you looked at it like, hey, this is what I do, but it's not who I am? Because I'm sure for someone in your line of work, it's so hard to separate that portion of your identity and your value, your feeling of self-worth of like, hey, I'm getting this great new job or this great new role.
