Gold Star Chili

I was covering Florida for the Tampa Tribune and I got a call offering me a job at Sports Illustrated.

And so my first meal after that was Gold Star Chili, not because I was like, I have to celebrate.

I was already going into Gold Star Chili when the phone rang.

Yeah.

It will always have a special place in my heart.

What have you experienced in Cincinnati that you haven't experienced anywhere

else? I found a restaurant that I really, really like.

It's an Italian restaurant, but I'm not a big chili guy or.

Well, I'm not either, but growing up that you have to experience gold star chili.

Um, And and since you really are beneath my contempt, I'm going to hold your I'm going to hold your little slop and you're going to vote for me because you're my because you're just a good little piggy, you know, and and Vivek went to took a picture as as they do at Gold Star Chili.

And his chili bowl in front of him has clearly just been like moved around a little bit.

Yeah, it was it was very clearly like somebody that was taking the photo.

And this says, con man violates Cincy Chili ethics.

The notorious con man Vivek Ramaswamy egregiously violated Cincinnati Chili Code during a visit to Price Hill Chili.

Yeah, Taco John's did go out of business, by the way.

Now it's a Gold Star Chili, which is even worse for pooping.

Well, all I know is the Taco John's that's in Nicholasville is pretty good, and it's still there.

Yeah, I couldn't believe it.

It's good chili, but I'm telling you, they put too much cheese on there, and if you're not lactose intolerant, you will be after having Skyline Chili.

Uh, but at least it's not Gold Star Chili.
