Adult & Teen Challenge of Texas

It's not something that's at the end of our profit and loss statement, right? No, it's at front and center that we're giving back, right? And we give back to ministries that are doing the hard work every single day.

So 10% of our profits go back to breaking the chains of addictions through Teen Challenge.

It is rescuing women from trafficking with 30 for Freedom.

It's feeding women resources through Venture.

So when we talk about those four organizations, we allow our partners to actually select, like, you know what? If this is Emmanuel and their give back, they really care about venture, we're allowing them to pick, you know, I want my 10% to go to venture.

And at that point, they can tell that story within the church that, hey, guess what? Changing the everyday habits of sipping on that cup of coffee is changing the world.

And maybe in Thailand, right, where they're providing meals to people fleeing from Myanmar, right? Or it could be that somebody cares so much about what Teen Challenge is doing and breaking that change of addiction.

They can highlight that within their congregation.

But one day I was watching TBN, because I would just put it on the Christian broadcasting station just to hear something that would be encouraging.

And this lady was talking about Teen Challenge.

She's talking about she tried all the different treatment centers whatever like that but team challenge is what blessed her now i'm already you know trying to find you know my way in christ and uh i'm trying to get closer to god so i'm like well what better way for me to get clean than to go to this place it was a year-long program That was nothing but God for me to say, I'm going to leave and go away for a whole year.

I was 19, about to be 20 years old.

I was young, but it's like I had nowhere else to go.

So I did that.

And when I went to this place, Teen Challenger was a pure blessing to me.

I stayed on New Orleans for four months.

So to say that there's one moment, you know, I look at...

I look at, this is actually the moment that I was talking about was I was doing a church service where I was leading worship and the Teen Challenge guys were there.

And and so, you know, we all know about Teen Challenge, about how Teen Challenge helps people break through drug and alcohol addiction.

And so the Teen Challenge where guys were there and they were giving their testimonies.

And then I went up to give mine and I'm standing there just like looking at these guys that are down in the front row and hearing what they had to say.

And I'm thinking to myself, this is what I thought in my heart.
