Girls on the Run New Hampshire

We pay dues to the national office.

So similar to like Big Brothers Big Sisters or Girls on the Run.

It's called a federated system.

I sometimes call it a franchise, but A2 doesn't like that one.

Uh, this episode is part of our special series highlighting some of our GO TER NOVA's most strongest supporters.

I'm Caroline, the executive director at Girls on the Run of Northern Virginia, and I will be your host today.

I am so excited to be joined by Kristin Smith from LMI, Chris Holland from Wegmans, and Colleen Cairns from Clark Construction.

These companies have been incredible champions for our mission, and today we'll explore what inspires their support, how their companies engage with our work, and why investing in girls and young people matters to them.

Um, I'd love to start, um, by asking you each...

I know I gave a very quick introduction of what company you're coming from, um, but that's just a piece of who you are.

Can you tell us a little bit more about your role at your company, uh, and share about how you first became connected with Girls on the Run? And Kristin, I'll start with you.

Kristin is also our board chair, um, so she's playing a dual role.
